A Very Merry Christmas

A Very Merry Christmas

I'm using Amy Marie's kit A Very Many Christmas for this tut. This kit can be found at www.amymarieskits.com

I used Template165 by Leah of Amy and Leah's Gimptastic Tuts and it can be found at http://amyleahsgimptastictuts.com

Open up template and check to make sure it as at 72 dpi.  Duplicate it and close the original.  Re size the canvas to the size you want so the elements will fit later on.  Delete the copyright and word art layers.

01.  Layer 2:  Select all, float, defloat.  Paste Pp1 into the selection.  Select none.

02.  Layer 1:  Select all, float, defloat.  Paste Pp9 as a new layer.  Invert the selection and hit the delete key.  Select nonel.  Delete or close the original layer.

03.  Layer 10:  Select alll, float, defloat.  Paste Pp7 into the selection.  Select none.  Repeat for Layer 9.

04.  Layer 4:  Select all, float, defloat.  Paste Pp8 as a new layer.  Invert the selection and hit the delete key.  Select none.  Delete or close the original layer.  Repeat for Layer 5.

05.  Layer 6:  Select all, float, defloat.  Paste Pp6 into the selection.  Select none.  Repeat for Layer 7.

06.  Layer 3:  Select all, float, defloat.  Paste Pp4 into the selection.  Select none.

07.  Layer 8:  Select all, float, defloat.  Paste Pp013 into the selection.  Select none.

08.  Paste Element 22 on to the canvas.  Re size by 65% once.  Place on the left behind Raster 1.

09.  Paste Berry on to the canvas.  Re size by 75% once.  Place on the left side.

10.  Paste Candle 1 on to the canvas.  Re size by 75% twice.  Place on top of the canvas and to the left of Raster 1.

11.  Paste Candy 1 on to the canvas.  Place on the right side.  Repeat this for the other three candies.  Merge them together.  Re size by 75% twice.  Rotate 15 degrees to the left and place on the top right.

12.  Paste CatNHat on to the canvas.  Re size  by 75% twice.  Place on the left side.

13.  Paste Deer on to the canvas.  Re size by 75% twice.  Place on the left side.

14.  Paste Tree 1 on to the canvas.  Re size by 75% once.  Place on the left side.

15.  Paste Word Art on to the canvas.  Re size by 75% twice.  Place on the bottom.  Select all, float, defloat.  Add a new layer and flood fill with a color of choice from the tag (I used a dark green), you might need to flood fill a few times so you can see it, move this layer below the original layer.  You might need to add a gradient glow as well to the flood fill layer so you can see the original but this step is completely up to you.

16.  Paste Tube(s) of choice to the tag.  Re size as needed.  Add copyright.

17.  Add name and save as a pspimage.  Add any effects you would like.  Crop and re size as needed.  Save as a png and you are done.
